Frequently Asked Questions at Bramgate Collision Centre

Since we've been in this business a long time--since 1967!--we've seen and heard (almost) everything from our customers. We've listed a few of the most commonly asked questions, but feel free to check back as we'll be updating this page periodically.

Some of the most frequently asked questions…

Do you have to use the repair shop your insurance company suggests?

Absolutely not! You can use whichever repair shop best suits your needs. Of course, it doesn't hurt that we at Bramgate Collision have excellent relationships with a variety of large and reputable insurance companies.

If the frame of my vehicle is damaged, is it a write-off?

No, a vehicle is only a write-off when the cost of repairs is greater than your insurance company's valuation of your vehicle. Most new vehicles are built using unibody construction (meaning the frame and body are made from one piece), and our technicians have access to state-of-the-art computer measuring systems that can help your vehicle get back to its original build. No need to get bent out of shape!

How long will the repairs take?

Our service advisors have been doing this for a long time and can give you an accurate time estimate. Of course, if anything unexpected occurs during the repairs that might delay the original timeline, our team will always do everything in our power to communicate any potential delays.

How am I going to get around now?

Assuming that your policy covers a rental vehicle (or that you're the claimant), we will work with your insurance company to send you home in one of our rental vehicles. If you're unsure, its best to contact your insurance company before you find out the hard way.

How will I know when my car is ready?

As we mentioned above, we pride ourselves on always being communicative during the entire process. When your vehicle is done, we'll be sure to contact you via your preferred contact method--but you can always reach out to your service advisor by call or email during the repair process.

Of course, if you have any other questions, feel free to contact our friendly service advisors at Bramgate Collision Centre!
